Attention Toshiba CTAP and Partner Plan Telephony Customers

Dear Gateway Telnet Toshiba Customer,

As your trusted advisor, it is our responsibility to proactively communicate with you when events take place in the business technology community. We have received a letter this past week from Toshiba Telecommunications Systems Division informing the dealer network that "Toshiba Corporation has deemed it necessary to wind down it's US, Canada and Mexico Telecom divisions as part of its global restructure." Toshiba also announced that they will continue to honor any warranty agreements already in place.

As you may imagine the news was completely unexpected and a surprise to the industry. Toshiba Communications Division has been one of the most popular selling Telephony providers since 1975 and was a major player in the industry.

You are currently on one of our Partner Plan Support Agreements. The purpose of this letter is to reassure you that you will continue to enjoy support and equipment repair and/or replacement for the life of your existing plan.

Gateway Telnet has been a Toshiba partner since our inception in 1999. Rest assured this event does not change in any way our commitment to you and the service we provide. We will continue to offer the finest service in Southern California and promise to support any existing service agreements, providing you peace of mind and a fully functional telephony solution.

We anticipate that you will be notified by others implying that you must change your Toshiba system. This is a sales tactic by competitors, which can be disregarded.
